Hello, I'm Pot Roast. I have recently lost the only home I knew and am having to adjust to my foster home. I may be a bit shy at first, but give me time and you'll find a curious and independent soul beneath. I'm not one for the limelight, you see. I prefer to observe the world from high places, like on top of the refrigerator or the top banner of a stair case. I'm in my golden years at around 10 years old, but don't let that fool you. I still have plenty of personality and curiosity left to explore all kinds of new places. I am also missing a few teeth but I have no problems eating hard food, especially if there's gravy on top. I've seen many seasons change, and with each one, I've grown more wise and loving. I may not initiate cuddles at first but I'm a big love bug once you scoop me up into your arms. I'd love to share my wisdom and all the love I have with you. I'm not looking for a lot, just a cozy corner with a view and someone to share it with. Adoption processDogs and puppies are $150. Kittens and cats are $80. The adoption fee includes vet exam, first set of vaccines, microchipping, Feline Leukemia test for cats, Heartworm test for dogs. Also, includes rabies vaccine and spay/neuter at appropriate age. A completed and approved adoption application is required before meetings are arranged. The foster home is responsible for approving adoptions.Shelter locationAdoption fairs are held monthly at PetSmart, Wilkesboro, NC. Prospective adopters with approved applications will be contacted by the foster homes to arrange meetings.
